New Year New Projects

Now that the craziness of the craft fairs has ended, it's time to regroup. I would like to say I took a break, but potters never really take a break. We're making pots, glazing pots, thinking about pots. You get the picture. This is a good time to get things done, like really clean the studio and reconstitute clay. I've also been working on some new projects for this year. They are in the preliminary stages. I like to work things out and make it my own style before I put them out there for the world to see! Let me introduce you to a few. Excuse them as they are unglazed at the moment.

A new style mug with much cleaner lines. I'll be using a different kind of clay and making them a little bit lighter.

Salt Cellars

This is a handy item in the kitchen and having a spoon loop will make it even better.

French Butter Bells

This is one I have been getting asked about a lot. So, here is my version that I have finally gotten around to working on. I'm excited to get these out.

I'm sure there will be other projects I'll be thinking about in the future, but this should keep me busy for now. I didn't want January to get away from me without letting you know what is going on in the studio. It may be little late, but I want to wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful New Year.
