Is it talent or practice?
I keep a small collection of pieces that I have done through the years. They are not of museum quality or even worthy of being in anyone's possession but my own. I have hung on to them to remind myself that yes, I have earned my way as a potter. New Year New Projects
Now that the craziness of the craft fairs has ended, it's time to regroup. I would like to say I took a break, but potters never really take a break. We're making pots, glazing pots, thinking about pots. You get the picture. This is a good time to get things done, like really clean the studio and reconstitute clay. I've also been working on some new projects for this year. They are in the preliminary stages. I like to work things out and make it my own style before I put them out...
